By gradually increasing your effort levels—in balance with appropriate recovery periods—you will build strength and endurance that allow you to exceed what you have done before. Your workout routines will become easier, but your increased stength will mean that it requires less effort to do anything physical. People experience having more energy, and it carries over into all areas of their lives.

Another by-product of strengthening your body in a managed progression is increased calm during periods of rest. After a concentrated workout, the body releases tension as part of its recovery. Dopamine levels are also increased by regular exercise, resulting in less tension and elevated moods.
